At Rolling With Dads, our journey is rooted in the realization that fatherhood can be both rewarding and challenging. Hezekiah Johnson, Founder and Executive Director, experienced this firsthand when he became a new father without the support and resources he needed. His own struggles inspired him to create a community where fathers could find unwavering support on their parenthood journey.
Our vision is to empower dads by providing them with the tools, emotional support, and connections necessary to navigate fatherhood confidently. Dad support groups play a crucial role in this mission, offering fathers essential parenting skills, emotional support, and connections with peers facing similar challenges.
Through Rolling With Dads, fathers gain practical insights and confidence in their parenting abilities while fostering strong bonds with their children. By actively engaging in our supportive community, dads serve as positive role models, promoting resilience and well-being within their families.

Terrell Drake
Vice Chairman & Director of Operations
As a dad, Terrell understands the importance of wanting better for his kids and those around him. Growing up in the church, he has been a part of a community that wants to help others become the best versions of themselves. He has partnered with several entrepreneurs offering assistance with progressing their mission with his services including planning and assisting with events, creating menus, and catering. He has a passion for shifting unproductive conversations within the black community to a positive one that focuses on helping and healing men, healthy relationships, mental health, and working together in a society that is determined to keep us divided.

Treasurer & Director of Programming
Erin Smith earned a BA in Communications and has over fifteen years of experience working with nonprofits and community-based programs serving marginalized and underserved communities. With a passion for training and development, it is her mission to develop engaging programs that build community and improve relationships within it, identify opportunities for those who need support, and create safe spaces for under-resourced populations. She is excited to be apart of the RWD Team to make a positive impact on fathers in need of connection and support.

As a passionate advocate for underrepresented communities, Kristen is committed to leveraging her expertise to support and uplift fathers through their parenthood journey with Rolling With Dads.
